An update from East Melling, "July Marriages..."

July indeed came & went, but West Melling Town Council would like to extend a high-dewpoint congratulations to those happy couples who hitched up their fabled (& indeed interpersonal) wagons for good this month!

Happily engaged since May, Christine & Peter tied the knot on July 3rd at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church & Brewpub in front of an ample (& amply loose) crowd of friends, family, & a youth baseball team from Beggly Hill who were celebrating their 3rd place finish in the Tri-County Lenny Dykstra Little League Championship Tournament, & were accidentally booked into the same room as the Poolethorpe reception. Way to go Tigers!

Marleana & Leo said their "I do's" on July 17th at Killing Fields Country Club, surrounded by loved ones, life-long friends, & a foursome which included the former President of Belgium as well as former star of the hit ABC sitcom Step-By-Step, Patrick Duffy. The illustrious pairing paused between 9's to wish the happy couple a hearty congratulations, as well as enjoy some cake. (Patrick Duffy finished his round with a respectable 4 over par!)

Drew Peters & Drew LaPaointe!
Drew & Drew were wed on July 28th at their shared home with their cats Arthur & Moby, Drew's sisters & mother, & Drew's best friend from college, Thad. When asked to comment on the happy couple, Thad remarked "It was the happiest I've ever seen Drew...at least since college, when Pokémon Gold came out, y'know?" We wish Drew & Drew the very best on what will surely be a difficult road ahead in their lives together. (Because they're both named 'Drew,' not because they're gay. There's nothing wrong with that!)
